據(jù)中國(guó)航天科技集團(tuán)消息，國(guó)產(chǎn)首顆全電推通信衛(wèi)星——亞太6E衛(wèi)星7月15日在中國(guó)香港圓滿通過(guò)了衛(wèi)星在軌技術(shù)驗(yàn)收評(píng)審和地面系統(tǒng)最終技術(shù)驗(yàn)收評(píng)審，標(biāo)志其完成在軌測(cè)試，正式投入運(yùn)營(yíng)。

China's first all-electric propulsion telecommunication satellite, the APSTAR-6E, officially commenced operational services on July 15 following in-orbit and ground system technical review in Hong Kong, according to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), the satellite's developer.

亞太6E衛(wèi)星由中國(guó)航天科技集團(tuán)五院采用東方紅三號(hào)E衛(wèi)星平臺(tái)研制，是東方紅三號(hào)E衛(wèi)星平臺(tái)的首發(fā)星。衛(wèi)星配置25個(gè)Ku用戶波束和3個(gè)Ka信關(guān)站波束，通信容量約30Gbps，在軌壽命15年。

亞太6E衛(wèi)星成功投入運(yùn)營(yíng)，對(duì)實(shí)現(xiàn)衛(wèi)星平臺(tái)高承載、低成本，提升我國(guó)通信衛(wèi)星平臺(tái)國(guó)際競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力，以及實(shí)現(xiàn)衛(wèi)星全自主軌道提升和長(zhǎng)期在軌自主工作，提升我國(guó)衛(wèi)星平臺(tái)智能自主水平，均有重要意義。
